Assignment Specifications: 1.0fte; 184 Days; 2024-25 School Year ONLY

Responsibilities: Under the direction of the Director of Community Education and Special Education Director, the licensed Early Childhood/ALC Special Education teacher is responsible for providing classroom instruction that meets the needs of the students’ IEP goals and implements effectively  the IEP of each student.   
 
Qualifications: Persons applying for this internal position must be covered under the master agreement associated with this posting. Qualified candidates will hold, or be eligible to hold, an EBD, SLD, or ABS license.

Early childhood offers programs that bring preschool age children together with the goal of offering engaging, nurturing, creative, and learning opportunities in a safe and enriched classroom. Children will explore, create, and learn through developmentally appropriate Creative Curriculum. Staff work with children to develop positive self-image and outstanding academic skills to ensure children are prepared for a successful transition to kindergarten.
