Parkers Prairie School District 547 has an Early Childhood Special Education Teacher opening. Parkers Prairie has a welcoming staff and student body. As the ECSE teacher your duties would include serving the elementary and high school buildings, coordinating skills sessions, and communicating with families.

Description

Position Overview:

  • School Calendar ~Hours: 7.5 hours/day ~Compensation/benefits: EMPP salary schedule

Duties would include:

  • Consult with and supervise Special Educational Team

  • Provide services & assess students Birth-7 years old

  • Schedule and facilitate student IEP meetings, due process

  • Review and submit Progress Reports

  • Consult with teachers and parents about student progress/concerns & Collaborate with SPED Team

Qualification

  • Licensed as an ECSE teacher by the Minnesota Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB) or willing and able to apply

  • Experience as a ECSE teacher preferred but not required
