POSITION:

 Day Custodian

LOCATION:

 Eden Prairie High School

RATE OF PAY:

 $28.63

HOURS PER DAY:

 8 hours/day, 5 days/week

START & ENDING TIME:

 7:30 AM – 4:00 PM

WORKING DAYS  PER YEAR:

 260

PAID TIME OFF:

 12 paid holidays and paid vacation and sick days.

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:

  • High school diploma or equivalent. 
  • Boilers license at level required at the building* or ability to obtain within probationary period.
  • Ability to obtain bus driver’s license by end of probationary period.
  • Three years’ custodial experience, preferably in a school setting.
  • Ability to perform minor repair jobs as directed.
  • Ability to prioritize work assignments.
  • Ability to meet the public & communicate with students. 
  • Ability to set priorities, handle multiple tasks, and take direction from multiple sources.
  • Ability to read and comprehend basic operating instructions.

BOILER’S LICENSE INFORMATION:

* To be considered for this position, applicants must have, at minimum, a Special Engineer’s License with the ability to obtain a 2nd Class C Boiler’s license by the end of their probationary period (6 months after hire).
 

TESTING REQUIRED:
All job offers from Eden Prairie Schools are conditioned upon passing a pre-employment criminal background check and ISD 272 School Board approval.  Offers for these positions will also be conditioned upon passing a pre-employment physical abilities test.
