Description

The Fergus Falls Public Schools is seeking substitutes for on-call custodial (cleaning) work. This position pays $18.75/hour and includes Earned Sick and Safe Time Leave.

JOB GOAL:       
To provide students with a safe, attractive, comfortable, clean and efficient place in which to learn, play and develop.  To provide a clean and inviting environment for the public as needed.
 
PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:
The tasks listed below are not intended to limit other tasks that might reasonably be assigned as necessary. 
–     Keep building and premises, including sidewalks, driveways, and play areas neat and clean at all times.
–     Shovel and sand sidewalks, as needed. 
–     Vacuum/sweep/damp mop classrooms; and dust furniture or as directed.
–     Clean corridors after school each day, and throughout the day when conditions require it.
–     Scrub, clean, and disinfect restroom floors, and clean all sanitary fixtures and drinking fountains.
–     Wash all windows on outside doors. 
–     Keep the grounds free from rubbish.
–     Keep all floors in a clean, attractive condition and in a good state of preservation.

Background Check Upon Conditional Offer: Background checks are conducted upon receiving a conditional offer. Employees must complete a background check and are responsible for the background fee.
