Custodian

La Crescent-Hokah Public Schools is seeking a qualified individual who would like the opportunity to become part of our custodial team. School District Employees must have strong interpersonal skills, professionalism and the ability to work well with adults, children of all ages and the public. Candidate should be able to provide students and staff with a clean, safe, attractive, comfortable and efficient environment in which to learn, work, play and develop. 

Qualifications:

• Valid driver’s license
• Ability to complete cleaning schedule for assigned areas

Job Description: 

Custodians are responsible for cleaning, dusting, mopping, sweeping, and sanitizing of buildings interiors. Shoveling, cleaning, trash removal of buildings exteriors and grounds. Other duties may be assigned.

Terms of Employment:  

This position will primarily be 2nd shift during school days (Approximately 2:30-11:00 p.m.) and 1st shift during the summer. Also, this position is an 8 hour per day year round position.
