Job Summary:Â The cooks helper is responsible for performing routine food service duties, such a preparing and serving breakfast and lunch, general cashiering, dishwashing, a la carte sales, and cleaning.

 Duties/Responsibilities:
1)GENERAL ADMINISTRATION
a.Assist cook in preparing meals according to the planned menu.
b.Set up serving lines and serve food to students and staff.
c.Work at the point of sale and have knowledge of reimbursable meals.
d.Operate and clean dishwashing machine
e.Wash dishes in the three-compartment sink, put away dishes
f.Clean food service areas, equipment, tables, utensils, floors, and surfaces as needed
g.Set up and cashier a la cart line

Job Requirements:
·      Stearns County High Risk Safety Training
·      Serve Safe Training a plus
·      Knowledge of working with standardized recipes

Physical Job Requirements:
-   Employee is continuously required to use hands, fingers to handle or feel, talk, and hear; frequently sits, stoops, kneels and/or crouches, reach with hands and arms in the performance of the job. Exerting from 25-50 pounds of force occasionally; and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. The employee will be on their feet for the duration of their shift and work in a fast-paced environment. Â
