Hutchinson Public School District is looking for team players to join us for the 2024-2025 school year and beyond as Cook Assistants in our kitchens.

Hours:
- Monday – Friday, 171 days of the school year
Position Responsibilities:
- Performs a variety of duties relative to the assigned kitchen of responsibility under the direction of the supervisor.
- Maintains food service facilities in a clean and sanitary condition.
Qualifications:
- Cashier and food service experience is preferred in this position.
- Customer service skills are very essential to this position.
- Ability to work with others as a team is required as teamwork is crucial to the efficiency of the kitchens.

- Training reimbursement:
- Up to $50 per year to obtain and maintain Level I, II, or III food service certification.
- Must be able to complete ServSafe, attain Food Protection Manager’s certificate and SNA level trainings. Ample time is provided to attain certifications.
- $350 uniform allowance for food service employees each school year!
- Receive a free lunch each day.
- 9 paid sick days accrued per school year.
- Public Employees Retirement Association (PERA) District contribution of 7.5%
