Description
Position Overview: The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction techniques, safety protocols, and the technical skills necessary for teaching students the fundamentals of residential construction. As a Construction Technology Instructor, you will engage students in hands-on projects that emphasize the importance of safety in the construction environment. You will guide students through the entire process of home construction, from planning and design to execution, fostering teamwork and problem-solving skills throughout the journey.
Key Responsibilities:

Teach students the fundamentals of residential construction, including safe practices and technical skills.

Plan and implement engaging, hands-on projects that encourage active learning.

Foster teamwork and collaboration among students during projects.

Guide students through the entire construction process, from design to execution.

Emphasize safety protocols and procedures in all aspects of construction work.
Qualifications:

Interested applicants must hold a valid Construction Careers license or demonstrate the ability to obtain one.

Experience in high school teaching is preferred but not required.

A strong understanding of construction principles and safety practices is essential.
