Primary Job Function:Â
To assist the Youth Enrichment Program Manager in planning, organizing, supervising, and carrying out summer camps and classes for children ages 3 -18 in art, science, language, academics, leadership, and theater. Also support our large bike ride, the Tour de Tonka bike ride (August 2, 2025)). Orientation, training and mentoring is provided.Â

Job Responsibilities:Â
- Assist the Program Manager in overseeing all classes and programs.
- Assist with schedules, permits, class rosters, distribution of materials, and communication with instructors/staff.Â
- Provide support for instructors with class materials and activities.
- Assist in planning activities, purchasing materials, posting signs, making field trip arrangements, and updating website.
- Grade exercises for correspondence courses.
- Maintain a master calendar of events for all program sites.
- Assist in leading class activities and supervising participants, as needed.
- Maintain a high level of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Assist with day-of responsibilities for and Tour de Tonka (August 2).

Job Qualifications:
- Pursuing B.A. or B.S. in education, marketing, communications, youth development, or a related degree; or current enrollment in a similar program at an accredited college or university; juniors and seniors preferred.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and customer service skills; ability to relate to both children and adults and work in a team setting.
- Demonstrated ability to take initiative and to work with a minimal amount of supervision.
- Evidence of ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks.
- Proven record of punctuality and responsibility.
- Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality.
- Pleasant manner, helpful demeanor, and positive, friendly attitude.
- Demonstrated accuracy and attention to detail.
- Must have reliable form of transportation.
