Description

Job Summary:
Teach private piano lessons to students and/or adults, beginner to intermediate, during the school year and summer months through Community Education’s Music Academy Program. Lessons typically run for 30 minutes and follow the school district calendar. The instructor is responsible for selecting which method to teach, and finding appropriate workbooks and music to use.
 
Hours:
After school starting between 2:30-4:00 pm, going into the evening. Instructor is able to set their own times and days of the week, depending on piano availability. Location varies based on availability.
Up to 15 hours per week
$36.00 per hour
 
Qualifications:
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
Experience teaching piano lessons, preferred.
Working with youth, preferred.
Passion for inspiring students to achieve goals and overcome obstacles.
