- $15.50/hr – building supervisor; $19/hr – stadium supervisor
SUMMARY
The Building Supervisor is responsible for supporting facility use rentals by providing building access, customer service, and basic support to permit holders. This includes providing information about room location, making copies, and responding to incidents as they arise. This position is also responsible for monitoring safety and security, ensuring no unauthorized individuals are in the building, and reporting any concerns to the Facilities Coordinator.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

Essential duties and responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, the following:Â
- Maintain building security.
- Oversee occupant safety.
- Provide superior customer service.
- Facilitate/assist enrichment classes and other community activities (includes sweeping or dry mopping between activities on weekends, set-up, operating automated bleachers as requested by user groups).
- Make and place directional signs.
- Survey condition of facilities before and after use and report issues.
- Report and respond to accidents/emergenciesÂ
- Facilitate fire and tornado evacuation, as well as lock-down procedures.
- Light office work, including making copies and collating packets.
- Other duties as assigned.
Stadium supervisors are also responsible for providing access to district stadiums, ensuring compliance with district policies, working with permit holders to ensure appropriate use of facilities, providing technical support (when needed), and securing facility after event.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Must be at least 18 years old
- Ability to work with people from various cultures
- Demonstrate excellent customer service and problem solving skills
- Able to attend work regularly and report to work in a timely manner.
- Providing effective customer service and dealing tactfully and courteously with the public.
- Establishing and maintaining cooperative working relationships with co-workers, clients, and community agencies.
- Effective verbal and written communication.
LICENSE AND CERTIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
A valid Minnesota State Driver’s License may be required.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING ENVIRONMENT
Work is performed in a standard office environment which requires occasionally lifting such articles as file boxes or heavier materials with help from others and/or lifting and carrying light objects frequently. A job in this category may require walking or standing to a significant degree or may involve sitting most of the time with long periods of computer work and heavy phone usage.
