POSITION:   
Community Education Afterschool Lead Monitor

LOCATION:
Community Education 

CLASSIFICATION:
CLASS Level 4

RATE OF PAY:

$23.43 (per 2022-2024 agreement)
 

SCHEDULE:
Working hours will vary between 1:00 PM – 10:30 PM (8 working hours with a 30-minute unpaid break)

HOURS PER DAY:
8

WORKING DAYS PER YEAR:
184

PAID HOLIDAYS:
6

QUALIFICATIONS DESIRED:
Education/Certification: 

  • High school graduate or equivalent, first aid and CPR certfication preferred

 
Experience:

  • One year customer service experience 

  • One year experience providing security or youth supervision, preferably within an educational or athletics setting   

  • One year clerical experience preferred

 
Qualifications:

  • Must be 18 years of age or older

  • Knowledge of and ability to adhere to district policies and procedure

  • Demonstrated written and verbal communication skills

  • Ability to work independently

  • Trustworthy and reliable

  • Ability to work with a diverse group of community users, students, and staff 

  • Ability to remain calm in emergency situations

  • Demonstrated competency in conflict resolution, crisis management skills

  • Strong problem solving skills

  • Commitment to excellent customer service

  • Commitment to providing an inclusive and welcoming environment for all

  • Computer and technology skills:

    • Familiarity with Microsoft Office and Google Products (Docs, Sheets, Forms)

    • Familiarity with Eleyo preferred 

    • Interest in and ability to learn new platforms
