Track and Field Coaches – Community Ed Youth Instructors
Community Ed Youth Instructors and Asst. Instructors are responsible for delivery of curriculum of Community School Programs for Grade 6-Grade 8. Â
Date & Hours: April thru May, 2025; Monday – Thursday practice, 3:10 pm to 5:30 pm. Â Meet dates can go as late as 6:45 pm. Â 3 to 4 meets.
Locations: Â Anoka Middle, Coon Rapids Middle, Jackson Middle, Northdale Middle, Oak View Middle, Roosevelt Middle
Duties include:  Track and Field coaching – practice and meets and/or events management.  Provide student safety and program presentation.  Perform other duties as assigned. (Concussion training required.)
Minimum Qualifications:  High School Diploma or equivalent.  Ability to maintain regular attendance, which includes completing an assigned day.  Must be able to lift a minimum of 20 pounds.  Ability to perform position responsibilities including physical factors, work devices and materials handling, data functions, and people functions. (Concussion training required.)  Must be physically working in the building/on site.
Preferred Qualifications: Â Previous Track and Field and/or Track and Field coaching experience preferred. Â Relevant work experience and previous experience with community school activities preferred. Â Advanced training or college degree preferred for coach and assistant coach positions preferred. Â Previous experience working with middle school ages students preferred.

Rate of Pay: Â $17.78/hour, DOQ.
