Description

The Junior A-Club Leader/Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Supervision and Leadership: Overseeing and supervising students participating in the Junior A-Club.
  • Coordination of Adult Workers: Managing the scheduling and responsibilities of adult workers assisting with concession sales, particularly in cases where adult supervision is required but unavailable.
  • Operational Oversight: Ensuring that all concession sales are conducted in a well-organized and efficient manner, in accordance with school policies and procedures.
  • Collaboration: Working in coordination with the high school A-Club to ensure consistency and alignment between the Junior and high school clubs.
  • Performs intermediate human support work preparing students to become productive, contributing members of the community, and related work as apparent or assigned.  Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Middle School Principal.

Essential Functions

  • Establish  procedures for keeping parents and students informed of activities and events; establish policies to address parent or student issues or concerns; regularly updates the Middle School Principal on issues, concerns and highlights.
  • Maintain food and safety requirements along with food licensure.
  • Order and maintain inventory of food and beverages sold by Junior A-Club.
  • Maintain and oversee the welfare of students at all times;; instruct students in the fundamental skills, strategy in order or realize individual and/or team success.
  • Maintain discipline and work to increase morale and cooperation within the school program and school community.
  • Enforce “no hazing policy” which includes no humiliating, degrading, emotional/physical harm, language or activities.

 

Education and Experience

High school diploma or GED and moderate experience with teaching or coaching, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
