Job Responsibilities: 

1. Work with students individually or in small groups in and out of regular classrooms under the supervision of the classroom teacher.
2. Reinforce the instructional plan laid out by the classroom teacher.
3. Provide instructional assistance and motivate students in math.
4. Monitor and report the progress of individual students
5. Assist with the assessment of student progress.
6. Assist students with organization.

Job Qualifications: 

1. Experience working with elementary age students.  
2. Evidence of strong math skills. 
3. Proven positive human relations skills with adults and students.
4. Demonstrated evidence of ability to take direction.
5. Demonstrated ability to take initiative.
6. Clear communication in speaking and writing.
7. Evidence of friendly, out-going personality.
8. Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality.
9. Evidence of willingness to participate in staff development. Demonstrated ability to follow through on a project.
10. Demonstrated organizational skills, punctuality, and efficiency
