Class C Academic Student Support Paraprofessional at Minnewashta, 6.5 hours per day, 185 days per year

1. Reinforce the instructional plan laid out by the classroom teacher and basic skills teachers by working with students individually or in small groups.
2. Plan and prepare study aids such as flash cards and worksheets.
3. Monitor and report the progress of individual students.
4. Assist with the assessment of student progress.
5. Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.

 
JOB REQUIREMENTS:  

1. Experience in working with elementary school age students. 
2. Evidence of a strong background in math.
3. Evidence of strong technology skills in order to assist students with technology skills. 
4. Evidence of the ability to be firm but kind, caring but consistent.
