Child Educator: Midstate Education District ECFE Teacher

Position:  Part-time Itinerant Early Childhood Family Education Teacher. Includes evening hours.  Possible work sites would include: Pierz, Royalton, Swanville, and Upsala. Candidates must hold a MN Teaching License, Early Childhood license preferred (Pre-Primary or Birth-3rd Grade).

Responsibilities:  

  • Develop, implement and instruct with developmentally appropriate curriculum and learning experiences for children ages birth to 5 years old in ECFE parent-child classes  

  • Work collaboratively with Parent Educator and Paraprofessional in providing high-quality programs in the districts assigned

  • Supporting families from diverse cultures and backgrounds

  • Attend staff meetings and other Professional Development as available

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrate a warm and welcoming rapport with children and parents

  • Have knowledge of child development

  • Communicate effectively and professionally

  • Possess excellent organizational and time management skills, and maintain confidentiality

  • Experience working with parents and children, ages birth  to 5 years, is desired

 

  • Salary based on experience and education.
