Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant

The Austin Public School District is seeking to hire a Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA).

A COTA is responsible for assisting children with developing motor skills and increasing strength. 

Essential duties of the job:

   Provide services to children according to establish ed treatment plan.

   Communicates with other staff and parents to ensure that students meet goals.

   Assists other staff in the use of various technology, exercise programs, sensory programs and equipment.

   Assists with the data collection for individualized education plan reports.

   Assists with the evaluation of children and communicattes areas of concern to the Occupational Therapist.

   Assists in the development of various programs.

We provide supervision and mentoring, continuing education and we pay licensure fees.

Training & Experience:

Associates Degree in Occupational Therapy and two years experience.
