Summary

Description

This is a school term, job level 11 ($26.88-$27.26/hour) 7 hours/day (7:30 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. with a half hour duty free lunch) position. The interpreter facilitates communication between hearing persons and deaf or hard of hearing students by providing sign language services.  Assists teachers in maintaining a positive learning environment for deaf and hard of hearing students.  Establishes good working relationships with educational professionals to meet the needs of deaf and hard of hearing students. Applicants must be proficient in American Sign Language and hold appropriate certification.
