Bus Driver

Location: Tower-Soudan School, Tower, MN 
Position Hours: Monday – Friday, AM and PM Routes
Bargaining Unit: Operating Engineers, Local 70
Wage: $20,083.57 – $24,387.29 depending on mileage and experience

Position Description: 

• Transports students according to assigned routes and time schedule. 
• Performs a complete pre-trip inspection and monitors vehicle performance and mechanical conditions. 
• Maintains the cleanliness of vehicle interior and exterior.
• Maintains effective student management during the operation of the vehicle. 

Skills Needed: 

• Safe and professional driving habits.
• Punctuality and attention to detail. 
• Ability to communicate well with children, parents, and school building principal. 

Qualifications: 

• Must pass a pre-employment background check, DOT physical, drug test, and alcohol screen. 
• Active Minnesota Driver’s License. 
• Maintain active Bus Driver’s Endorsement.
