Description: School Bus Driver

Hours:  Route shifts available; hours will vary, but are generally between 6:30 am – 8:10 am for the morning shift and 2:30 pm to 4:30 pm for afternoon shift. Monday-Friday school days only. Additional driving opportunities evening and weekends as activity driver or substitute also available.

Primary Function: Provide safe and proper transportation of all students

Compensation: Competitive compensation. Pay: $63.88 per route. Routes are approximately 2 hours – $31.93 per hour!

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: 
– Must be eligible to work in the United States
– Must possess a valid driver’s license
– Possession of Commercial Driver License (CDL) with Class B endorsement preferred, but not required as training will be provided to obtain this licensure
– Must meet State physical examination requirements
– Must pass pre-employment screening, including drug and alcohol, and meet Department o f Public Safety’s guidelines
– Must meet Local and State standards for driver record check and criminal record check
