TITLE: Building Supervisor
FLSA STATUS: Non-Exempt
REPORTS TO: Community Education Director
CLASS SUMMARY:
The Building Supervisor is responsible for supervising activities and events scheduled in WM facilities and maintaining district policies, procedures and protocols.
TYPICAL CLASS ESSENTIAL DUTIES:Â

Support and assist with maintaining district facility schedules.

Supervise facilities to ensure participants, renters and spectators are following district guidelines and protocols.

Support district with internal and external facility users and renters
-
Collect fees from individuals participating in open gym or pool times as needed.

Oversee concession sales and adherence to the MDH guidelines as needed
-
Manages supplies, materials and equipment for the programs and purchases as needed
-
Attend meetings, in-services, and workshops as needed
-
Perform other duties assigned by Community Education Director, Superintendent or Activities Director

Knowledge of best practices in community education and recreation.

Skilled in problem analysis, data collection and problem solving.

Ability to make decisions and act within the district and program policies, procedures and protocols.

Ability to communicate effectively and respond to questions from administrators, teachers, other district employees, students, and the general public.

Ability to organize, direct and administer programs and personnel.

Intermediate computer skills.
LICENSING REQUIREMENTS:

KNOWLEDGE:

Operates office equipment including computer, printer, copy machine and phone/mobile phone.

Use multiple software applications including word processing, facilities scheduler/registration websites, spreadsheet, email, and presentation applications.
SKILLS:

Position requires supervision of facilities, recreation, and enrichment program staff

Position involves responding to multiple and sometimes simultaneous requests for assistance.

Position involves working with students and parents in a positive manner.

Position involves need for accuracy and detailed work on a regular basis.
