Job Summary
Seven Hills seeks a K-5 Behavior Specialist at its Burnsville Campus for the 2024-2025 school year. A counseling license is preferred, but not required. This is a fulltime, 1.0 FTE, position and includes a competitive salary, insurance benefits, and 403b option. Primary duties of this position include, but are not limited to, the following: Lead the Student Support Team in responding to unique behavior needs and accommodations, offer assistance with conflict-resolution, stress management, and emotional wellbeing; provide additional guidance for mental health issues including trauma-informed care; provide individual and direct as well as small group and classroom counseling services. Demonstrated leadership efforts that go above and beyond expectations is essential; working knowledge of coaching and observation strategies and methods is helpful; effective communication and organization skills are critical; experience with and appreciation for equity and inclusion is very important; and familiarity with a charter public school setting is advantageous.
