Intermediate District 287 serves students in grades K-12, as well as transition age students (18-22 years old), from our 12 member districts in the west metro area. Our district offers a wide range of services and specialized programs, primarily focused on setting IV special education, that is designed to meet the diverse needs of our students. Salary & Benefits:Â
- Salary is based on Local 2209 Salary Schedule A: $48,819 – $96,833 (depending on experience and education)
- BCBA Certification or Tier 3 or 4 ASD or EBD license may be eligible for a $3000 signing & retention bonus!!

Requirements:
- Interested in candidates who are: diverse, bilingual, or have experience working with diverse populations.
- Requires a valid special education teaching license, school social worker license, or school psychologist license issued by the Professional Educator Licensing and Standards Board (PELSB), or someone who is Board Certified Behavior Analyst Certification (BCBA – Nationally certified), or in the process of obtaining the certification.
- If not currently licensed, must be willing and eligible to apply for and receive a Tier 1 or 2 teaching license in either ASD or EBD.
