Attendace Clerk
Category I office employee
8.5 hours per day, which includes eight hours of paid work time and 30 minutes of unpaid lunch time
$20.36 to $23.11 per hour plus benefits based on the current salary schedule for office employees
Schedule based on 200-day calendar
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Record attendance for students.
- Take calls off student absence line.
- Answer and record calls, e-mails and notes from parents concerning attendance.
- Answer questions by students and parents.
- Assist in the office as needed.
- Other duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proficiency in English required; additional proficiency in Spanish preferred
- Strong customer service skills, pleasant phone personality and ability to work under pressure.
- Ability to operate multi-line telephone system.
- Demonstrated knowledge of basic PC software
- Able to attend work regularly and report to work in a timely manner.
Note: Testing is required for this position. Applicants must show proficiency in technology and clerical skills.Â
