Assistant Wrestling Coach – High School

We offer an early learning center for pre-school and kindergarten students, including a community education center. This center includes many outdoor and indoor active learning spaces. Jefferson Elementary provides programming for grades 1-4, focusing on small group instruction, responsive classroom, STEM opportunities and core curriculum.  We offer a middle school structure and environment for grades 5-8, focused on advisory, exploratory, and experiential learning opportunities.  Our high school is for grades 9-12, offering college, vocational and work ready courses. We have many opportunities for fine arts and athletics for all students.  A Career Technical Education (CTE) Center, provides students opportunities in automotive, welding, manufacturing, fabrication, engineering, construction careers and cabinetry.

HIGH SCHOOL ASSISTANT WRESTLING COACH

       
Job Description/Duties:         
New Ulm High School is looking for High School Assistant Wrestling Coach for the 2024-2025 season. Previous high school/middle school coaching experience preferred. Advanced knowledge of organization and techniques as they relate to wrestling is preferred. The ability to motivate student-athletes in an education-based manner is required, as well as the ability to ensure proper skill development is being achieved.    

The Coach provides leadership and expertise regarding the rules, strategies, and techniques for the assigned activity, utilizing knowledge of the specific equipment and events, physical fitness, and safety to prepare participants mentally and physically to compete at the highest level.  
      
Preferred Qualities:               
Previous participation and/or coaching experience in wrestling is preferred.

C12 wage classification scale

Winter sport season 2024-2025
