Marshall Public Schools is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Girls Wrestling Coach. This position is located at Marshall High School.

Qualifications: A candidate that is passionate about students and the sport of wrestling. Experience is preferred, but not required.

Job Duties Include: 

1. Skill Development: Design and implement effective training programs to enhance wrestling skills.

    Technique Instruction: Teach proper wrestling techniques, including takedowns, escapes, and pinning combinations. 

    Conditioning: Develop and oversee strength and conditioning programs tailored to the needs of wrestlers. 

2. Game Strategy: 
    Tactical Planning: Analyze opponents and devise game strategies to maximize the team’s performance. 

3. Player Development:
    Individualized Coaching: Offer personalized feedback and coaching to help each wrestler reach their full potential. 

    Motivation: Inspire and motivate athletes to set and achieve individual and team goals. 

    Leadership: Foster leadership skills and sportsmanship among team members. 

4. Safety and Wellness: 
     Injury Prevention: Emphasize and enforce proper safety measures to prevent injuries during practice and competitions. 

5. Other duties as assigned.
