Marshall Public Schools is seeking applications for the position of Assistant Boys Hockey Coach. This position is located at Marshall High School.

Job Summary: Assist with the practices, preparation, coordination, and organization of various levels of hockey as directed by the Head Coach.

Qualifications:

  • Strong communication skills
  • Experience in coaching hockey
  • A passion for working with student athletes

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Skill Development:

    • Design and implement effective training programs to enhance hockey skills
    • Develop and oversee strength and conditioning programs tailored to hockey players’ needs
  2. Player Development:

    • Provide individualized coaching and feedback to help players reach their full potential
    • Inspire and motivate athletes to achieve individual and team goals
    • Foster leadership skills and sportsmanship among team members
  3. Safety and Wellness:

    • Emphasize and enforce proper safety measures to prevent injuries during practices and competitions
  4. Other duties as assigned
