Position Summary: Head Color Guard Instructor
The role of the Head Color Guard Instructor will be to instruct and oversee all colorguard rehearsals and team instruction during large group rehearsals.  The Head Color Guard Instructor will be responsible for making design and execution decisions as a member of the design team, and coordinate with the colorguard and drill designer.  He/she will also be responsible for the scheduling of color guard assistants/techs for rehearsals and competitions, specifically if the Head Color Guard Instructor cannot be in attendance.

Position Requirements:
High school diploma or GED required.  3+ years of experience in Color Guard or likewise activity; extensive knowledge in regards to skill development; excellent inter/intra-personal skills as well as a focus on leadership and the community of Owatonna as a whole are highly desired.  Candidate must recognize that activities in Owatonna are a continuation of the educational process and instruct accordingly.  Consistent and reliable attendance is required.

Pay Rate:
Per Schedule C of the OEA Contract
