Spectrum Middle School and Spectrum High School (Spectrum) is a public charter school of 950 students located in Elk River, MN. Spectrum is a highly sought after college prep school (grades 6-12) with well establish student success and parent support. Spectrum offers many well established high school athletic programs through the MSHSL and in collaboration with other schools. In addition, the middle school athletic program is on its 5th year.

This position will coordinate with the Activities Director to establish a vision and develop a co-curricular activities program in grades 6-12. He or she will plan, schedule, and work with activity leaders to supervise athletic contests. In addition, the position will work with activity leaders to plan and schedule all co-curricular activities in grades 6-12. He or she will also monitor activity budgets and approve expenses in accordance with applicable policy. He or she will work cooperatively with the Activities Director, Athletic Administrative Assistant, and other administrative staff to complete duties and responsibilities, in addition to assisting with office coverage as needed or assigned at the 7/8 building.

While the schedule can be more flexible between seasons and in the summer, hours for this position are primarily late morning through evening and some Saturdays based on athletic schedules. This is a salaried position.
