About Becker District/School
Becker School District is conveniently located off of US Hwy 10, just 20 minutes SE from St. Cloud and 45 minutes NW from the Twin Cities. The District consists of four buildings, all situated on a single, cohesive campus and serves approximately 2,800 students – Primary School (K-2), Intermediate School (3-5), Middle School (6-8), and High School (9-12). Becker’s mission is to develop self-directed learners to thrive in a changing global community.
Position Summary
Becker Middle School is seeking passionate and dedicated applicants for a long term sub (1.0 FTE) Art instructor, during the months of November, December and January.
Qualifications
- Must possess a current Minnesota Teaching License in the appropriate field or be on track to receive one by November 2024.
- ?Strong communication skills and the ability to create a safe, supportive, and engaging learning environment.
- A passion for learning, effective classroom management skills, and strong organizational abilities.
- ?Ability to collaborate with students, parents, and the community to foster a positive and productive educational experience.
?Role Overview
The primary responsibility as a long term substitute is to provide instruction for students in 7th & 8th Grade focusing primarily on Media Art Standards. The candidate will work closely with colleagues to prepare, engage, educate, empower, and inspire all learners, ensuring they are well-equipped to succeed in today’s and tomorrow’s society.
Start date: November 13, 2024
Schedule: 1 FTE
Requirements/Licensure
