Athlos Academy of St. Cloud is a public, tuition-free K-8 charter school. Qualifications and Skills

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree
  • Experience: Classroom experience preferred
  • Certification: Valid MN teacher certification or willingness to obtain

Responsibilities and Duties
•     Teaches art to elementary and middle school students
•     Plans, prepares and delivers art lessons that engage students and provides growth.
•     Ensures student growth and achievement in accordance with grade level.
•     Models the Athlos culture.
•     Responsible for tracking student attendance, behavioral issues and classroom events.
•     Participates in regular professional development.
•     Communicates with parent/guardians and the community professionally.
•     Communicates regularly with school leadership and other faculty to maximize effective instructional activities.
•     Participates in the school's professional learning community to enhance learning objectives.
•     Meets professional obligations by honoring schedules and deadlines.
•     Collaborates with regular classroom teachers; cross-content lessons are encouraged
•     Any other assigned duties.
