The Art Teacher for this position will be responsible for teaching six classes daily with students ranging from kindergarten to 8th grade. The art teacher will have 2.0 hours of planning times within the work day (8:00-4:00).

The Art teacher will be evaluated 4 times each year using the TAP instructional rubric. Teachers in this position must also ensure they develop or use a curriculum that supports Minnesota state standards, collaborate with teachers and support staff, provide individualized instruction based on student needs, partner with families and guardians to support students, and establish a strong culture of learning.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor Degrees (Required)
  • Minnesota Teaching License (Required)

  • Minnesota K-12 Art License (Preferred)

  • Spanish speaker (Preferred)

  • Experience working with culturally and linguistically diverse students (Preferred)
