Summary
Description
Responsibilities and tasks include:
- Meet and greet customers.
- Answer and return phone calls.
- Verify and process paperwork for the enrollment of students.
- Request records from previous school.
- Enter enrollment information in Access and Synergy.
- Transfer completed enrollment records to schools.
- Provide administrative support in the form of typing, word processing, filing, duplicating materials, faxing, etc.
- Responsible for ordering supplies.
- Performs other duties of a similar nature or level.
- Provide Outstanding customer service.
Minimum qualifications include:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- General clerical skills including word processing, updating databases, and experience creating and tracking information using Excel.
- Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills and the ability to help, serve, and exchange information.
- Willingness to learn and use data management systems.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Highly organized and detail oriented.
- Ability to work every workday in August and September (Monday – Friday)
- Ability to work collaboratively with Enrollment Center staff and customers.
Knowledge, skills, and abilities include:
- Extensive secretarial/clerical skills, including MS office software (i.e., MS Excel, MS Word, MS PowerPoint, MS Outlook), Google applications and database maintenance.
- Extensive skills in developing and maintaining record systems.
- Knowledge of district policies as they affect the general operation of the building.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of the materials and information disseminated daily.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced and rapidly changing work environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively with diverse groups.
- Ability to carry out job responsibilities independently, possess effective time management and organizational skills.
- Knowledge of district policies and procedures.
Preferred qualifications include:
- Fluent in Spanish, Hmong, or Vietnamese.
- Comfortable working with diverse cultures.
- Strong customer service skills and understanding of customer service theory.

Work schedule: 8 hrs/day, 260/261 days per year
