Job summary:  Provide secretarial/clerical support to the Main Office

Responsibilities and tasks include: 

  • Provide secretarial/clerical support in the form of typing, filing, duplication of materials, faxing, etc.
  • Prepare and maintain complete student data in Synergy.
  • Receive parent calls, record information, verify information, and refer to administration and/or counselors when necessary.
  • Receive, answer, and/or refer student questions as they relate to school policies and procedures, attendance, discipline; provide information to administrative staff as requested.
  • Manage student incident reports in Synergy and pull reports for administration when necessary.
  • Type and maintain various reports and records as they relate to administration and counseling.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Minimum qualifications include: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • General clerical skills including data management and word processing.
  • Ability to maintain accuracy and attention to detail.

Salary:  View salary grid on Page 5, Section 1, and Classification, Pages 6 – 7, Section 3 of the Administrative Education Support Professionals (AESPs) contract 

Work schedule: 8 hours/day; 40 hours/week

Job type or FTE: Full-time, school year; 212 days
