Accounts Payable/ Accounts Receivable Coordinator

Location:  District Office

Immediate Supervisor:  Business Manager 

Hours per day: 8

Schedule:  230 Duty Days (Prorated for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year)

Salary:  Placement per the Education Minnesota – Mora ESP AFL-CIO , $18.54 – $22.92 based on education and experience

The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Coordinator is responsible for ensuring timely processing and payment of accounts payable. This role involves providing financial, administrative, and clerical support under the direction of the Finance Manager.

Job Summary:

The Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable Coordinator will be responsible for managing various financial tasks within the organization. In Accounts Payable, the coordinator will receive and process invoices while ensuring their accuracy, reconcile invoice quantities with purchase orders, and balance vendor statements to resolve any discrepancies. Additionally, the coordinator will set up new vendors and prepare necessary tax exemption certificates and W-9 forms. Maintaining accurate reports and filing systems is essential, as well as preparing year-end and audit reports.

In the Accounts Receivable role, the coordinator will prepare bank deposits, enter receipts into the finance system, and mail invoices while maintaining filing systems. This position plays a crucial role in ensuring the financial operations run smoothly and efficiently.

Qualifications:

High school diploma or GED required, plus two years of post-high school education or sucessful completion of the MN Para Pro Exam. Experience in a school setting is preffered.
