Academic Standards and District Assessment Coordinator

Mankato Area Public Schools has a position available for an Academic Standards & District Assessment Coordinator with the Teaching and Learning department. This is a full-time, 12-month, Non-affiliated position with Category III benefits beginning July 1, 2023.

Summary of Duties: 
The Academic Standards and District Assessment Coordinator is responsible for providing instructional leadership to ensure the implementation of the MN state standards in K-12 classrooms and oversees the administration of state and local assessments for the district. 
 

Qualifications: 

• Proven leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues, and students to achieve district, building, and student goals

• Ability to organize and maintain a large number of electronic and manual records, files, and calendars

• Ability to work independently, and cooperatively with department and district staff

• Excellent communication skills 

Qualifications Required: 

• Valid MN Teacher’s License 

• Minimum of five years successful classroom experience

• Administration experience preferred
