Mankato Area Public Schools has a position available for an Academic Standards & District Assessment Coordinator with the Teaching and Learning department. This is a full-time, 12-month, Non-affiliated position with Category III benefits beginning July 1, 2023.
Summary of Duties:
The Academic Standards and District Assessment Coordinator is responsible for providing instructional leadership to ensure the implementation of the MN state standards in K-12 classrooms and oversees the administration of state and local assessments for the district.
Proven leadership skills and the ability to build relationships with colleagues, and students to achieve district, building, and student goals
Ability to organize and maintain a large number of electronic and manual records, files, and calendars
Ability to work independently, and cooperatively with department and district staff
Excellent communication skills
Valid MN Teacher’s License
Minimum of five years successful classroom experience
Administration experience preferred
