Community of Peace Academy is an urban public charter school located on the East Side of St. Paul Minnesota serving nearly 800 students in grades PreK to 12. 2021-2022 is our 27th school year. We are seeking Special Education Paraprofessionals to work with students with disabilities in our Middle School, specifically in 7th and 8th grade. Special Education Paraprofessionals work daily when school is in session and are given six paid holidays during the school year. Other benefits include up to ten sick days per school year, health and dental insurance coverage and a retirement plan.
 
The qualified applicant will possess a strong ability to develop positive rapport with learners of diverse backgrounds, to maintain clear and consistent expectations, to support learning activities and student behavior in with skill and enthusiasm, and to communicate effectively and professionally with team members.
