Special Education Paraprofessional – Multi-Categorical (2 positions available)
Location:Â Journey Program
Start Date:Â September 3, 2024
Hours:Â 6.5 hours/day
Days:Â 180 work days
Responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, supervision of students indoors and/or out of doors, tutoring students under the direct supervision of a teacher, general classroom clerical support, assisting students with hygiene needs, facilitating behavioral redirection and intervention, physically transferring students and assisting in instructional job responsibilities.
QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma required.
Demonstrated aptitude and competence for assigned responsibilities.
Such alternatives to the above qualifications as the Board may find appropriate and acceptable.
WAGES:
Starting at $20.00 per hour
