Description
Bemidji School District and the Boys & Girls Club of the Bemidji Area are seeking a Program Facilitator for their 21ST Century Community Learning Centers multi-year grant program. This position is 20 hours per week for 43 weeks with a $30.00 hourly rate of pay. Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree and 3-5 years of experience in project management and youth development programming.

Responsibilities:
The 21st Century Program Facilitator will be responsible for the overall implementation of the 21CCLC grant, execution of the program’s mission, direct oversight of the day-to-day logistics of the program, alignment of the daily work with the overall program goals, and provide evaluation feedback to staff.

Primary job responsibilities of the 21st Century Program Facilitator will involve observing the implementation of academic and enrichment activities and collecting student outcome data to evaluate the success of implementation and effectiveness of programming. These will include alignment of the daily work with the overall program goals, creating quarterly student and family surveys, assessing data from a variety of sources, meeting with the Family Advisory Council, generating and creating site and program reports, tracking demographic and enrollment data, and working with the independent outside evaluator on identified areas of needs.

Program Overview:
The 21st Century Community Learning Center program operates Monday through Friday at J.W. Smith Elementary School, Bemidji Middle School, and Bemidji High School on school days during both the school year and summer for students in grades Kindergarten through 12. The focus of the programing is literacy, academic enrichment, and family educational engagement. Activities will vary slightly by grade level, but all three centers will have academic enrichment and tutoring, social-emotional learning activities, arts and language enrichment activities, and nutrition education and physical movement activities. In addition, a major component of the program will be monthly family engagement events with a focus on literacy.
