2025 Camp Summer Elementary School Paraprofessional

Closing Date: Candidates will be reviewed upon submission. The first round of reviews will occur on January 10, 2025. The position will remain open until suitable candidates have been found. Positions are limited. 

Dates: Program dates July 7th – 31st 2025

Work Days/Times: Monday through Thursday from 7:30AM-2:15PM. 
Option and flexibility to work one or both sessions. 

Student Level: Students entering grades 1-5 in 2025-26

Position Summary:
Performs intermediate human support work providing alternative education and basic skills instructional services to students in general instruction or in a specialized subject or assigned group of subjects, motivating students to develop skill in assigned subject matters while supporting appropriate conduct, speech and attire, and related work as apparent or assigned. Work is performed under the limited supervision of the Teacher.

Education and /or Experience:  
High school diploma or GED and minimal experience working with school aged children, or equivalent combination of education and experience. Associates/Technical degree preferred.

Special Requirements:
Must hold AA/AS degree, completed 60 semester credits, approved competency portfolio or pass MN Parapro test
