Social Worker or Psychologist: Camp Summer/Summer U 2024

Closing Date: Candidates will be reviewed upon submission with selection starting no sooner than five days following the posting.  The position will remain open until a suitable candidate has been found.  

Salary Range/Hourly Rate: $40/hr

Dates of ESY:  Prep/PD week of June 24th. Programming will run from July 8th, 2024 – August 1st, 2024. 

Work Days/Times: Programming days: Mon-Thurs  Proposed number of days/week from 8:00am-1:00pm. 30 minutes of prep time each day will be scheduled in the 5 hours. Can be taken before or after programming times listed previously. (Dates, times and location may change based on student and/or District needs)

Student Level: Elementary and Middle School

Proposed Site(s): Camp Summer Elementary: Onkea, Otter, & Matoska
Summer U Middle School: Lincoln

Position Summary:
The White Bear Lake Area Schools is currently seeking a Social Worker/Psychologist to work in our Camp Summer and Summer U programs.  Performs professional work assessing and delivering instructional services to individual and small groups of students with social-emotional or behavioral needs. Work is performed under the limited supervision of Student Support Services Administrators. 2 positions are available and there will be the ability to collaborate as a team to support all 4 sites.  

Education and /or Experience
Licensed as a School Psychologist or Social Worker 

Special Requirements:
Minnesota Psychologist or Social Work License. 
Experience working with White Bear Lake Area Schools preferred. 
Camp Summer/Summer U Experience (Preferred)
