Description
Position:Â Kids Club Assistant Site Manager
Location:Â Districtwide (Elementary Schools)
Start Date:Â ASAP
Shifts:Â 6:15 am – 11:00 am and 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm (total of 7.75 hrs/day or 38.75 hrs/week) OR
6:30 am – 10:30 am and 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm
DESCRIPTION:
Non-school days and summer shifts are straight shifts of 6.5 – 8 hours/day.
Summer and nonschool day shifts could remain a split shift if desired.
Provide primary supervision of children, plan and implement age-appropriate curriculum, and design/maintain safe and stimulating environments for children.
Assist in supervision of child care staff.
Assist program coordinator with other duties as assigned.
Must pass employment background study.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Preferred Bachelor’s degree in related field or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience, school age child care experience, knowledge of social development of schoolaged children, good communication and interpersonal skills required, current CPR and first aid certification.
Employment subject to successful background study.
WAGES:
Begins at $19.24 per hour, plus shift pay of $1.00 per hour – as per the current Kids Club master contract
