This position qualifies for the Minnesota Great Start Compensation Support Payment Program! The Minnesota Great Start Compensation Support Payment Program is a new state program that provides compensation support to eligible child care centers specifically to recruit and retain child care employees who regularly care for children. Funds for this program are distributed by the Minnesota Department of Human Services. See the attached Great Start Compensation Support Program brochure for further details.

Looking for a way to make a difference in the lives of students!  Apply to be a Kids’ Club Lead.  The candidate hired for this position will provide assistance to students and support the Program Specialist in the supervision of youth in afterschool care programming.

POSITION:
Kids’ Club Lead – 9-month

LOCATION:
Elementary School Sites

HOURS PER DAY:
Candidates are hired to work part-time or full-time shifts, depending on program need.  Consistent weekly schedule preferred.

DAILY SCHEDULE:
School Year Program operates 7:00 am – 8:40 am & from 10:00 am – 6:00 pm.  We will work with candidates to plan around schedules as much as possible. 

DAYS PER YEAR:                
261 (12 – month position)

RATE OF PAY:           
The wage for this position ranges from $16.48 to $22.66 per hour, depending on experience and qualifications. New hires will typically start at the entry-level rate within the wage range, while candidates with relevant experience may be placed at a higher starting rate. These decisions will be made on a case-by-case basis, in consideration of the individual’s experience and the school district’s budget.
