Narrative
College, university, and alternative preparation program personnel and faculty who want to assist their graduates in job searching and provide information about post-graduate opportunities are welcome.
This virtual job fair helps candidates engage with Minnesota public schools early in the hiring cycle. Participating employers are limited to Minnesota public schools, including districts, charters, education cooperatives, etc.
Schools will be recruiting for positions in licensed teaching, student support (counselors, psychologists, school nurses, social workers, physical therapists, occupational therapists, etc.), administration, and a limited number of support positions that do not require a professional educator license.
In addition to the live event, all registered candidates, employers, and preparation providers will have access to live and on-demand pre-fair workshops. These sessions are produced by practicing and retired school administrators and focus on preparing candidates to interact effectively with potential employers. Topics include virtual job fair etiquette, memorable meet-and-greet techniques, mastering the teacher resume, and licensing support from PELSB.
