How it works for employers
- Register: Employer registration is now closed.
- Set up your booth and assemble your representatives (recruiters): Shortly after registration, the designated district contact(s) will receive an onboarding email with a guide on how to set up the virtual booth for the best candidate experience, a FAQ on managing the booth, and key dates for live training. This guide will include live “booth owner orientation” sessions to learn how to customize their booth and plan for a successful job fair (recording available afterward).
- Prepare: Employer representatives recruiting at the event will also have live opportunities to participate in special training sessions to instruct them on using pre-event resources to recruit and effectively engage during the live event. Training will provide best practices for communication and assessment of candidates, and walk participants through how to use the screening tools available to identify the best potential talent for your organization.
- Recruit Early: In the weeks before the live event, employers have access to the early access candidate registry, a spreadsheet-like view of candidate profiles that can be easily filtered to narrow down based on traits like desired geographic area, positions, licensure, etc. All teaching candidates will be invited to complete the Humanex StyleProfile Builder™ talent inventory, the results of which are available to employers at the Silver and Gold levels. The early access candidate registry is a powerful tool that helps you gauge how to staff your booth and reach out to candidates that fit your needs to make a connection. Representatives for employers on the Silver or Gold package may invite candidates to reserve time to schedule chats at specific times during the live event.
- Attend: Each representative will log in between 3:00 and 7:00 pm on the day of the live event, to connect with candidates for scheduled and unscheduled chat interactions. Each chat has a 10-minute timer and will start as text interaction. Representatives have the ability to extend the chat time and can invite the candidate to video chat.
- Follow-up: Employer representatives have continued access to the database of all candidate profiles. Silver and Gold level employers are able to access available Humanex StyleProfile Builder™ talent inventory results. Representatives can also access chat transcripts and performance reports from the event.
What is Included with Employer Registration?
Every employer registration includes resources for before, during, and after the job fair. Significant features of the employer registration are:
- Virtual booth is customized with your content (text, hyperlinks, images, and videos) for candidates. If you’ve participated in a virtual event with Educate Minnesota in the past, we’ll copy your booth forward to the upcoming event(s).
- Unlimited representatives (recruiters) can participate. Watch this short video of representatives’ experience with the Brazen virtual job fair platform.
- Access the candidates’ registry before the event so that representatives can screen candidates and identify high-potential talent.
- Employers on Silver or Gold packages have access to teacher candidates’ performance on the Teacher StyleProfile Builder™ from Humanex Ventures. Results come in an easy-to-use “Select 7” report that shows the top talents/strengths, identifying the candidates most likely to be successful teachers.
- Access continues for representatives for at least three months following the event.
- 1-on-1 Chat interaction with job-seeking candidates
- All chat interactions start in text and can switch to video chat.
- All employer representatives can invite registered candidates to chat before and during the event.
- Employers on Silver or Gold packages can schedule chats with all registered candidates before and during the event (about Scheduled Chats).
- Scheduled chat allows candidates to be matched with the appropriate representative.
- Booth owners can schedule on behalf of other representatives.
- Scheduled chats may occupy any/all times during the live event, from 3:00 to 7:00 pm. Representatives can block off time when they will not be available for scheduled chat.
- All chats will be on a 10-minute timer.
- Representatives can end chats early or extend once by 2, 5, or 10 minutes.
- Employers will receive performance reports following the event with contact information for all candidates that visited the booth or chatted with a representative.
Optional add-on: White-glove Virtual Booth Setup
