Elementary Paraprofessional
POSITION TITLE:             PARAPROFESSIONAL – Indian Education POSITION PURPOSE:       To assist students individually or in small groups as assigned by Indian Education Coordinator.
Spectrum is hiring a full-time ASL interpreter for the 2024-2025 school year to work with one student (currently). This position (1) facilitates communication between hearing and deaf or hard of hearing individuals in classrooms and meetings using American Sign Language or other manual sign system, (2) serves as a liaison between deaf or hard of hearing students, hearing students, families, and instructors, and (3) performs related work as required.
Spectrum is a thriving college prep public school of choice, located in Elk River, MN, serving approximately 900 students in grades 6-12 for the past 18 years. We are seeking to fill an opening for an instructional paraprofessional.
Paraprofessional – Hall Monitor
Required:High School Diploma or general education (GED) and ability to pass competency test or Two Year College Degree (AA). Duties Include:Servicing students in Special Education or ADSIS programming. Likely over a grade or two, but all paraprofessionals can cover Preschool-5th grade.Working under the direction of the principal and special education case managers.
Student supervision and staff assistance. Manage and maintain technology devices issued to students and staff and Mobile Labs/Carts . Perform other duties as assigned.
The NRHEG School District has an opening for full-time (7.0 hours a day) special education paraprofessional position for the 2024-2025 school year.
