Special Education Paraprofessional, Great Oaks Academy MN

Great Oaks Academy is seeking Special Education Paraprofessionals to assist students with special needs under the direction of a certified teacher.

Behavior Intervention Specialist (2024-2025)

Responsible for providing direct and pull-out support in planning instruction and/or adaptations of the instructional program using intervention models to facilitate student learning in accordance with school policies. Design and implement specific strategies through the team process to promote intellectual, social, and physical growth in all identified students. Supports the instructional programs of regular and special education teachers.

Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA)

The Certified Occupational Therapist Assistant (COTA) is responsible for implementing intervention and therapy regarding students’ fine and gross motor skills and functional abilities (e.g. perceptual-motor, hand functions, motor coordination, sensory development, muscle strength, etc.) under the direction of the Occupational Therapist.

Special Education Paraprofessional, FLOAT

Provide support by working directly with students to increase their academic, social/behavioral, communication, and study skills under the direction of the teacher(s).

Special Education Paraprofessional, Transitions

The Transitions Program serves students at Dean Lakes Education Center in ages 18-22. Transitions is an Autism Program (ASD), Emotional/Behavioral Program (EBD), and a Developmental Cognitive/Behavioral Program (DCD).

5-8 Building Reserve Teacher Position

We are seeking a hard working professional as full-time 5-8 Building Reserve Teacher to join our team for the 2024-2025 school year. An ideal candidate must have a four year degree and a commitment to personal growth and continuous improvement.
