Southern Minnesota Education Consortium

Southern Minnesota Education Consortium is a cooperative of 7 school districts in the southeastern Minnesota area. We serve alternative learners in the most applicable setting. We offer support for district special education teachers, specialized classrooms for Level III and IV students, a growing ELL Newcomers program, and a expanding Alternative Learning Center for middle and high school. Our Ed Center is located outside of Austin, MN and we serve the following districts: Alden-Conger, Glenville-Emmons, Grand Meadow, Kingsland, Leroy, Lyle, and Southland. Our rural setting allows for smaller class sizes and more support from adminstration and colleagues. The cooperation of our districts brings related service providers to all students within the consortium. Find more info at our website.
