Monticello Schools is looking for a Kindergarten / Elementary teacher to provide full time direct service as a long-term substitute for the 2024-25 school year.

The School Social Worker provides direct and indirect social work services to students experiencing social, emotional and/or behavioral problems that interfere with their performance in school, and facilitates communication among school, home and community providers.

Applicant is responsible for planning, coordinating, and providing an educational and social experience for children ages three to five years old. The preschool teacher plans and provides the age appropriate lessons and activities to develop a child’s motor, emotional, social, and pre-kindergarten skills. Coordinate support staff and works with parents, specialists, and early childhood special education staff to provide a fun, safe and quality program for students of various needs.

Monticello Schools is looking for a licensed 1st grade teacher to provide full time direct service for elementary students.

This position is working with students with individual needs that meet criteria for special education. This includes small group instruction, work completion assistance, and teaming with mainstream teachers.  The special education teacher will collaborate with other service providers during the day to meet student needs.
